During this project, research was carried out in collaboration with Prof. Kim Dasol, focusing on the intersection of mathematics and environmental engineering. The work centered on developing a model that could estimate the scale of damage caused by natural disasters linked to climate change. By integrating mathematical approaches with engineering principles, the model provided a structured way to analyze complex environmental phenomena and quantify their potential impact. This research not only highlighted the growing urgency of addressing climate change but also demonstrated how mathematical modeling can be applied to real-world challenges with meaningful implications.
